What the Battery Warranty Covers

  • Manufacturer defects within the stated warranty period
  • Battery failure under normal operating conditions
  • Replacement of the battery itself when confirmed defective

Warranty coverage applies only after we confirm the battery is the problem with basic on-site testing.

Labor Fee Policy (Important)

A labor fee applies for the on-site warranty swap.

Labor fee = 1/3 of the original invoice total (the invoice from the day the battery was installed).

Example: Original invoice was $450 → labor fee for a warranty swap is $150.

In plain English: batteries under warranty are replaced at no cost for the battery itself, with the exception of the labor fee above.

How the Warranty Swap Process Works

  • You contact RSQNOW and provide your original invoice info (name / phone / date) plus your vehicle details.
  • We schedule you and perform basic on-site testing to confirm the issue.
  • If the battery is confirmed defective and in warranty, we replace it and collect the labor fee (1/3 of the original invoice).
  • If the battery tests good or the issue is outside the battery (starter / alternator / connection / parasitic draw), warranty replacement does not apply.

We keep it simple: confirm the problem, confirm coverage, then solve it quickly.

Common Reasons Warranty Won’t Apply

  • Battery is outside the warranty time window
  • Issue is not the battery (starter / alternator / connection / parasitic draw)
  • Battery tests good / holds proper voltage under load
  • Wrong tier used for a vehicle that requires AGM / high reserve capacity

If the battery is not defective, any service performed is treated as a standard service call.

Important Note About Battery Tiers

Your vehicle determines what battery is acceptable. Some vehicles (especially luxury / European and high electrical-demand vehicles) require AGM or higher reserve capacity.

If your vehicle requires AGM, we’ll recommend the correct tier. Using a lower tier on a vehicle that requires AGM can lead to repeat issues and may not qualify for a warranty swap.

Before You Request Warranty

  • Original invoice details (name / phone / date)
  • Year / make / model / engine (if known)
  • A quick description of what happened (no-start, slow crank, intermittent, etc.)
